Today I had the pleasure of eating lunch with my youngest daughter. We talked and talked and I was able to share my aspirations and desire to guide her as she grows. She looked me in my eye and told me “your a good mom”.
Needless to say my heart melted. In that moment I was not seeking validation I was actually attempting to explain to her that I may misstep but all my actions are from love and that I will aim to give her my best always.
I am not sure if I achieved my goal but we built a memory and we connected. Not a bad day at all:-)
